Boni Global was founded in 2011 in İTÜ ARI Teknokent, aiming to develop solutions that enable people with special needs to move freely and independently by providing indoor navigation and location-based services. Boni Global exports its patented software, which has been awarded in many international competitions, to seven countries through its offices in Istanbul, Berlin and Chicago. The accessible navigation software Sesli Adımlar has reached more than 30,000 end users in public spaces such as shopping malls, airports and university campuses around the world. Later, the product portfolio was expanded by using location services for solutions that will increase safety, efficiency and traceability in open and enclosed facilities. After the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Boni Global started to offer digital transformation solutions in the field of occupational health and safety with the development of Safe Steps, which helps to maintain social distance and to create accurate filiation reports when necessary, in order to reduce the risk of contamination in the workplaces. Safe Steps is successfully implemented in 147 production and retail locations, protecting more than 36,000 employees.
